I've made the decision to go full canvas and going to order the hoops and canvas (was going 2nd hand but just going for too good money not far off new prices) bu the seat belts I'm struggling with. Currently a Station Wagon with the high mounted belt bracket above the shoulder but this won't exist with the canvas so what options (ie not best part of £200) do I have for mounting an inertia belt, or do I need to go to a static belt option?
Was hoping for a conversion bracket mounted on the front tub section that sits behind the seats. Maybe I'm being too simplistic!!

Hi,

Does the Series not use the same / similar system as the 90 uses? a bar like this? If the 90 has the military roll hoop that includes a seat belt mount to replace the fixing point that is lost on the removal of the roof. My set up can be seen here.

Thats similar to the Exmoor seat belt bar but its £179 delivered!!! Was hoping for something a bit cheaper and basic as the rest is already mounting up to nearly a grand with hoops, canvas, bonnet for spare wheel and tailgate with accessories.

TBH,

If you know someone handy at fabwork, one similar to mine would not be difficult to make. As long as you trust the welding and steel used.

I guess there's a gap in the market for someone, bit like the lower dashboard and bonnet frame.

I have one that will be for sale soon from a soft top I am converting back to a hartop. I do not know what make it is but could send you some pictures if you were interested. Otherwise it is destined for ebay.
