Hi there, I am trying to find a couple of metal plates for the gears and knobs etc. Namely (according to the Haynes manual):
Transfer lever seal retainer (Hi - Lo ratio part 23)
Operating rod cover plate (4WD selector part 25)
I am pretty sure I can get the gators/seals but struggling to find the metal plates.
Picture below of the my landrover and of Haynes manual parts list.
Any help or pointers appreciated.

Both available , the best diagrams have the part numbers on
Have a search for retroanaconda website and you can download the parts book

Thanks Steve, I had a look at that Anaconda site, very useful. Can you suggest any retailers for the parts I’m after? Please.

If you google the numbers with Land Rover you’ll have a choice I use most of the suppliers

Ensure your not in 4wheel drive. The bracket under the yellow knob should be spring loaded.

I made may own for the O/D lever. A circular plate and a sheet of rubber with a hole, 3 self tappers. Works a treat.

Thanks Rob, good idea that and one I will steal ta.
As for parts, thanks everyone for advice..... now right into Anaconda docs and ordering parts from John Craddock. Will get some photos up when I get the parts and start fitting them.

You could save yourself the time and expense of buying covers and making bits by buying one of these

Steve your handbrake gaiter should be installed inside the seat box ie turned around 180 degrees.

Thanks I never realised that in all the time I’ve had it , it might last a bit longer if fitted right , I haven’t secured the red lever gaitor yet either
