Try covering it under a different name and address and see what the price comes out as.

It may well be logged as you the driver not the car, dont the AA say the member is covered not the actual vehicle.

Tried the website for a link on the other post and it's cheaper. But I reckon I'd be better off with the AA for the reasons Yella gives. I'm going to ring them tell them this and see if they bring it down a bit.
