Anyone know how to get a car scrapped without being ripped off???

My local breakers will give me 80 for it, one further out will give me 140 for it.

Is it just a case of ringing around to see who will give me the best price???

There isn't actually much wrong with it, got 8-9 months test, but I've just got a disco2, and I need shot of it!!!!!!
 
drive it to a scrapyard (not a breakers) and weigh it in as scrap be worth about £200 then.. Scrapping em is all they're good for anyway.

Funnily enough I think you may get shot of it ok but if you do get stuck, Reward recycling, Charles trents etc will give you an online price (going on vehicle weight) and will pick it up from you for free too.

Thanks Ratty, I'll keep those in mind if I do get stuck with it.
 
I will take it for that. Could do with a third :D

At least put it on flebay and send us the link.
