P38's do have a known fault of bursting into flames..

There was/is a known fault with the earlier p38s.

ATF would come out the dipstick tube and ignite on either the manifold or hot cam cover(s)

There is also a recall for coolant igniting believe it or not.

Yea water on fire on a P38, only Land Rover could do that!!

That's cos owners get fed up of shelling out to get them fixed and find burning them is the best way out.

Surprised they are standing that close. Once that fuel tank ruptures it will blow.
