Here's a problem for you freelander boys.
Took my 2.0TDI in for 30K service. It has developed a scraping noise from the front discs, not under heavy breaking but whilst gently braking, its been back to the garage twice for detailed look and stripdown and 'now its has been regreased' all will be ok.
After 3 days motoring the noise has returned bigtime, whats my next step? rant and rave at garage/customer services at Land Rover/ have a look myself/ go to another garage/hope it goes away/.
I'm going to Italy at the end of the month and I would like peace of mind whilst descending an Alp as I want to get to the bottom of the Alp under control conditions and not at "brake-neck speed" ( pun intended)
