Ok The tax has run out on Freddie the 200tdi its tested until november but I cant see it passing that with ease and im wondering if its time to cut my losses and send it off for scrap this is the picture of it today:

Good
new cambelt engine sweet as a nut
gearbox fine
new discs and pads
recent oils all round

Bad
awful steering box has been tightend and tracking done to no great benifit
ripped exhaust off off roading
needs new springs shocks bushes all round
inner wings rusty
boot trim falling apart
ignition knackerd
and niggly bits

I figure about 400 in parts plus labour our driveway is a steep slope so cant do the springs myself plus my health isnt up to it.

So if you dont mind I would like your opinions on what to do what are they worth for scrap? should I take the risk and fix it? should I take the 400 and the scrap and put it towards a better one?

Stick it on ebay you'll get 400 quid for it easy

I wondered about ebay maybe give that a whirl give it a quick pressure wash and get some pics next time the sun comes out If someone could do the bits themselves then I think it would be a reasonable motor really wish our drove was flat!
