You say there is 'a' clue in the image. If you take a picture of something and ask what it is, is the clue not 'it'?

A breakage which is now going to be an expensive paperweight - just to remind you to be more careful to fit parts correctly? Looks like a cam belt drive off a crankshaft.

I think that there are probably a few cookies to give out - for those of you who said VCU splines (joke)- you should trust your first instincts. Now fitted into freelander. This was the only way I could think of to push fit the bearings without loading the actual VCU.
