Does anybody know how to turn down the volume on the sat nav (Freelander 2)

Try adjusting the volume whilst the announcement is being made, you have to be quick!

Thanks for the info, sorry to sound stupid, but how ? there is nothing on the screen for volume.

The volume control for the radio/cd either on the dash or wheel...but has to be when announcements are being made...
