Obviously for copyright purposes you'd have to buy a copy of the same disc you have from eBay 😉

But you could speak to your local dealer who will relieve you of £200~ for an update :)

Pull it out, gain some extra storage, and buy a portable GPS - or maybe your phone can do it.

Built in ones are a rip-off.

+1 and Google maps are better than most of the dedicated SatNavs with regular free updates.

There are only 2 units compatible with the L322 (2002-2005) and they are the Mk3 CD based Unit and the Mk4 DVD based unit...

I upgraded to the Mk4 unit a few months back and it is miles better than the original Mk3...

I got mine from ebay and here is a link to my install thread...

http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f10/2002-2005-sat-nav-upgrade-241877.html

They guy I got mine from is well known in the L322/BMW SatNav circles and I had a smooth transaction with him and no issues...truly plug and play.

I would advocate upgrading to the Mk4 instead of forking out dealer prices for a disc....

I believe the guy I used can also supply map discs seperatly.
