Another load of extrusion coming today, we ran out of cant rail before Xmas and there are also J-rail drip extrusions and more U-channel door cappings, which are used to anchor the panels to the floor and roof etc.

As we are back to work now, Philip will be a bit restricted on time, but he expects to get bits done in the evenings.

The shower cubicle is done, the wall joint stiffeners need priming and painting and the panels sealed.

Doorway is cut and there will be a simple waterproof curtain across inside, probably a long/wide one to go around two sides.

The door handles and hinges turned up today, so Philip stayed on after work to get the door mounted.

Went up OK, just needs a bit of fettling, as mine did on the big trailer.

Hoping to get the front top cant rail finished tomorrow, followed by roof on Sunday.

Insulation for the roof is here ready to be cut up and laid in.

Got more done today, despite the weather.

The top front cant rail has been cut and fitted, plus a piece of honeycomb laminate has been cut, ready to be bonded inside the front 'bay window' section roof to stiffen that section. Cutting the angles on the cant rail extrusion was a bit of a game, but we finished up using a sacrificial piece of extrusion to test the fit of the two pieces, which gave us much better results than the first ones we did.

Roof insulation has been fitted to 90% of the roof area, and if tomorrow is dry we will get the roofing finished off, allowing the inside to dry out properly. There isn't a huge amount coming in, but the sheet has a few pinholes which allow about a pint of rainwater in overnight.

I'll get more pictures done tomorrow.

The roof should be on today if all goes well and subject to the Sikaflex going off hard enough to handle.

Been drilling and drilling and more drilling!

Roof sheet is in place and all the mouldings drilled and located, next step is to get it sealed and rivetted down.

The very front part has been reinforced with a piece of honeycomb, the sheet of roof covering has been added to with a piece of the offcut from my own trailer, that leaves enough roof material for two more!

Just having a cuppa and warm-up before we go out again.

Finished tonight at 17.40, got the roof all done and sealed, just a couple of places to finish off tomorrow.

Absolutely knackered!

After a long, cold day in the yard, we got the roof sheet cut out and fitted.

Work included getting the front bay area reinforced at the top, as there is not equivalent to the floor to stiiffen it, but it all got done, we finished about 17.30, my shoulders and legs were killing me!

It rained heavily last night and there are a few unsealed joints, but it should be pretty good now.

Solar panels to go up on there yet, so we are not finished with the stepladder!

Judge it better when the interior is finished, but it is fairly roomy inside, even for me and I'm 6ft+ and 17st.
