About to rebuild my salisbury diff. Loads on the Internet but very bity. Does anyone have a link to, or know of a good clear instructional video of the process including specifications?
Cheers.

There's this lot with Britannica Mike's diff series vids https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=defender+salisbury+axle+rebuild

+ Ashcroft have a very good rebuild video [without instruction but with highly repetitive music]

+ Trailerfitters videos [there are a good few videos but need to be in order] https://www.youtube.com/user/trailerfitter2/search?query=differential

Cheers mate. I've seen all them in various orders. Britanicas videos all went tits up when he was about to film the setup of the pinion and trailfitters, like you said are not on any order and as far as I can make out is doing a pinion with shims. When he started to get his maths wrong ,I was lost. I'm only used to +1 numbers. When they start on th,s , I'm lost.:eek:Mines a crush sleeve. I haven't seen ashcroft yet, I'll give that a go. Loads of us vids using on Dana axles but again , not exactly the same as mine. There is one guy, an English bloke in nz who has girls helping him who pretty good and explains things very clearly but again not my axle.
Edit, nz bloke is Andy mechanic.

Mick, do you have a copy of this...?
