ok mate , was up there today in a group of land rovers. Was great fun. Seen a big group of Toytoa's and a group of Vauxhall Frontera's about plus a few groups on bikes.

Hi all,
me and friend both want to go to The Plains, but are ofcourse worried of the no Go areas, and respecting the proper rights of way.
Niether of us have been so would like to tag along to a group that knows their way around.
We are both intermidiate offroad drivers with offroad preped 90's.
Will keep an ear out for when you guys go in may if its ok to tag along?

i think we have a weekend at it do the ridgeway and marlborough downs and wild camp the nite somewhere and off to the plains and along the ox drove summit like dat
and dont forget the fricken frying pan this time!!!!!!!!

dont bother going to the plains till next year or till we have some proper rain..
I had a walk around yesterday with some mates and the dogs, we didnt even bother taking the land rovers, its all dry, even a massive mud area tucked away its all dry.
there's still water in the big bomb holes, but not worth the trip, not even for me and im only 20min away...
My 90 has been SORN'd since the beggining of April, only taxing it again when/if we have some heavy rain

aint worried bout bit dust and ruts or mud just want be out and about i see enough of mud in winter when working!!!!!!!!!!!
u have come up the pub JP when we parked up wash the dust down
