Hi guys.

A friend of mine tells me that the inlet head on his safari snorkel doesn't suck air in??

He even sent me a video of the car running and blowing vape smoke around the snorkel inlet and nothing goes in.

Do the safari inlet have some trick going on or is it just not connected up and he talking S&^t to me as the convo did he little heated.

If it doesn’t suck then it must have a leak somewhere but I wouldn’t of thought vape smoke is an efficient way of testing it.

If he has left the grille in place, then the head of thesnorkel may well have small slots in the base of it to allow rain to leak out, he needs to remove the top of it, which is held in palce wiht a jubilee clip and seal off the tube part. Use a board as something flimsy will be sucked right in if the rest is good.

If it does not stall like that then he has leaks in the rest of the tube or air filter.

Cheers
