Went to go fit my safari style snorkel from lrparts.net today and it does not fit at all no were near close. when i hold it in place at the bottom the bracket that goes into the windscreen pillar is out by 3 inches odd. It bloody ridiculous. I know its a copy and it wont be the same as the real deal but seriously this no wear near fitts! I'm going to have to create a new bracket for this heap a ****e to fit. Or heat the plastic up slowly and bend it back to shape. I'll be sending them an email later onn to tell then what I think of their product. Has anyone else on here had issues with safari style snorkles not fitting. Cheers.

Heh, wait while you hit a tree, nay, scrape by a bush, with it - they're a tad brittle!

There's a good reason why they're less than half the price of a 'real' Safari. Southdown are way better ... but then i would say that, I have one!! ;)

Just been looking at the lr snorkel and was was gonna order one to see what it's like- they are cheap! Now I know why haha.
Thanks for that mate!
I like the Mantec one that's similar to safari but wid mushroom type top but damn there expensive.
Think I'll order the Masai mushroom type- they look pretty solid and decently priced.
