Hello Team - I am looking to order some new silicone radiator hoses of my 2.25P. My rubber ones perished and I threw away before measuring. Could someone let me know the inside dimensions of the radiator hoses (top and bottom) plus the angle of the bottom hose - 120 or 135 degrees.

If anyone can lay their hands on these dimensions, that would be super helpful. Part numbers are 577344 (bottom elbow hose) and 577346 (top 90 degree hose).

Thanks

Tom

I have mine off at the moment so I looked, Not sure if my radiator is stock or not but the connection at top and bottom of radiator is 35mm, The part on the engine that houses the thermostat is also 35mm, the bypass hose connection below the thermostat looks like 34mm. Those are the 4 I measured with vernier. Some of the connections have a bump in the diameter, like a hump to help secure the hose I guess.

Amazing - thank you. I’d imagine that’s the 1 3/8 equivalent. Any idea if the angle of the bottom hose elbow? Thanks

Must admit the ones I replaced on my engine build don’t look a patch on the ones I took off. Not silicone, just a set off the net and you got it; advertised as OEM and arrived in britpart bags. Looks like I’ll be replacing them very soon. Very soft and with a much thinner wall. It comes to something when you just can’t trust the parts you’ve fitted. Silicone might be a good idea. Keep us posted how they perform.

Just thrown a few of the usual suspects on the computer. They come out at around forty degrees.
