Trying to get a S3 with the old 2.25 diesel running that has been sat for years, the lift pump valves were stuck so freed them off and got it to prime through the filter and down to the injector pump, it will bleed through the pump bleed screw but nothing out of the bleed screw on the cover housing. getting a small amount out of the injector pipes but not enough to make any smoke.
Looking at the piping, it has a line from the top of the filter which T's into the injector leak off pipes, it seems to me that most of the priming with the lift pump just goes down this pipe and back to the tank?
Does that sound right?
