Will a series 3 109 hicapacity rear cab section and rear tub fit straight on a standard 109 chassis. If not what modifications would be needed to get it on.
Are the 110 and 109 hicap actual rear body tubs part the same.
Just wanted to know as I'm sourcing parts for my 109 project and have found a quite rare 109 hicap rear cab section, roof with 110 tub which I was hoping to fit to my stripped standard 109 chassis, as the extra carrying space would be very handy.
The chap selling the parts has told me the cab section and roof is a genuine 109 item and the rear tub is off a 110. Apparently it all fitted to his 109 perfectly, with no modifications, but I was just checking before I went any further with the deal.
Also does the Haynes landrover restoration manual, as opposed to the normal Haynes manual cover re-chassising.
