Well the "Frisky Freebie" (or the hippo that thinks its a crab  ) finally made it back with its engine management light not sure what to say about the day out.

Once we two "hippo's" had worked out the 'grounding level' and how to straddle the ruts we got on great!!! I think we managed to follow the rest of the folk damn near everywhere. :D I got a few hints and help from the folks in a certain Blue Disco ES ;) when it came to rut avoidance. Once on the Plain we were like kids in rain puddles! Though trying to avoid an unknown path through water 'Frisky' went 'crabbing' along the edge much to my amazement and that of one or two that were watching!

The only issue to upset 'Frisky' seems to be the engine management light. Popular opinion amongst those gathered around the stroppy beast points to the EGR valve failing.
My thanks go to Ratty for helping me pull the air filter apart to check it out and apologies to Mrs Ratty for the amount of texts she had to send to get Ratty in for his Pizza!

Overall a great day out to christen LG04 (legover=frisky freebie) and am very grateful to all who took the time to organise the routes. Looking forward to the next run and detemined to not wash car until rain has streaked mud off :dnfnoob:

Yup good day and thanks to the organisers for yet another masterpiece. All the Landies (and the special) made it through, although mine grounded alot on 215/16 tyres sufficient to loose the rear box, which is still half full of Salisbury water.

A few Piccies coming soon.

I think there were two "losses" - my rear box and Si's number plate.
One Hippoo got stuck and one Disco got a bit sickly for a while.
We seemed to have a lot of V6.5 Discos with us from time to time too:D.

Hope its just the EGR, Skynet.
