I have had the bulk head door pillars on my series 3 replaced.
They were rustproofed with Waxoyl when done and need a repeat. I would like to know if I did it with Dinitrol would it react with the Waxoyl or not?
It's just that I have Dinitrol to hand and would have to buy some Waxoyl specially.

Dinitrol is very good but needs doing every year or so and can be expensive in the long term
Can't beat a good soaking in old engine oil :)

Add a 25% diesel to thin oil some and get it to spread/creep into the corners. If no compressor to spray a pump up garden sprayer will do. Take out top hinge screw and get some in, bolt that holds screen bracket also good access point.

Hi All, many thanks for your input. I have a waxoyl sprayer but no waxoyl so will buy a drum.
Cheers

Waxoyl ain't what it used to be, dry's up and peels away far to quick. Mind you so much stuff is faked today.
