Hi all,

New on here, recently bought my first Defender 90. I've been browsing on here for some time, great forum, loads of info and it seems not many sensitive folks on here, I like!.
Not new to cars which need that bit of TLC. I own a Classic Mini which slowly corrodes, I fix, then it slowly corrodes a bit more. I thought to myself I need to buy a car which is "maintenance free", a bit more space than a Mini and does 0-60 in less than 24 hrs.........so here I am!o_O

At least I can go over speed bumps now.

Nice to meet you all.

And you bought a Landy ?! At least you have a sense of humour !

Welcome mate ! :)

Welcome to LZ, Mate. :)

LOL welcome, I'm sensitive, and a vegan, and a vegetarian, and a pacifist, and a humanitarian, and a naturalist, oh and a bloody liar.

Welcome
You now own a Classic Land Rover which will rapidly corrode, you'll fix, then it rapidly corrodes a lot more.....etc.
So little change, just more to rust away. Enjoy, you'll end up either loving or hating them, probably a bit of both.
Defender 90...what year, engine etc?

Recently was not really the correct working. Should have said recently bought, pick it up this weekend as I'm away.
2009 2.4 TDi.
We're looking forward to it, we're used to hurling down the motorway at 55mph, shaking, rattling, complete fear of breaking down any minute and all whilst holding my AA recovery card between my teeth.
I can see my Mini corrode in front of my eyes so taking a look and coming back 10 mins lately with a little rust is a breeze.

Photo as promised
