Hi, Newbie here, been looking through the forum for answers to a niggling problem.
Got a series 1 freelander 1999, just recently the engine management light flicks on from time to time and engine sounds rough as if it thirsty for air (growling) when driving if i accelerate around 2500 rev the red light comes on and engine seems to stutter as if there is a blockage or something, take foot of pedal light goes out, foot back on pedal accelerate and all seems ok, when slowing around 2500 light back on, foot off pedal light off, foot on pedal all seems ok.

so far new air filter, new fuel filter, new injectors, new maf sensor, new expansion bottle cap? what next

guys throw it at me

Prob best to shift this over to the Freelander Section, this is the Series I,II,IIA and III "series" part, welcome though !
