hi guys i started having this problem with the motor recently where she is missing on tick over and if i stop at lights and keep it in gear it starts shuddering like mad and to top it off started her today and there was a pile of smoke puffed out when she kicked in any ideas anyone

Petrol or diesel with or without LPG.

If it's a Td5 it's not a Range Rover, you need the Disco section.

I'd be looking at the injectors!

Any warning lamps??

only warnings are air suspension in active once again for a change lol

I know I shouldn't be saying this - but did you watch the Wheel Dealers episode with the L322 TD6??

They had an injector issue, does your sound like that when running??

yes i watch them all the time and boy was i surprised at seeing the air susspension light on butt it runs fairly well when driving its mainly on idle that its like a bag of spanners

got it booked with an auto leky next saturday butt just trying to get info on how much to ill need to find down the back of the couch this time

Get your own diagnostics

It will probably cost less to buy then a short visit to the auto electrician

It's the most important tool any range rover owner should have !

Didn't KernowSam have a similar issue and it turned out to be a broken wire in the Injector Loom???

if its only the wirring loom i could be happy as i bought an engine for my 530d last year wich turned out to be the engine they used in the rangerover butt didnt fit the e60 shape bmw butt i still have the wirring looms from that and the injectors
