Now i do know that series landies aren't the most fuel efficient motors in the worl. but surely less than 11mpg is really really bad. any ideas on what could be happening??? also i just replaced the carb. cud this have any effects?????
18 MPG is about the norm, what kind of carb have you fitted and was it new or second hand. What was wrong with the old carb, has the reduction in MPG only started since you changed the carb?
mate i've only fitted a remake of the original Zenith. and this was due to the old old one pumping out fuel through the throttle spindle. i thought this was the main reason why the fuelling was down but now it has got worse.
