Hi all, my husband is looking at buying a 90, but as I hold the purse strings:)I was just wondering how much you are all paying to run yours ie- fuel, tax, insurance etc. just so we know we aren't overstretching ourselves. Many Thanxs x

INSURANCE is 165 full comp for me with "lancaster"
for my 90
they are very good on fuel cheep to fix and fun to drive

insurance under £200 a year, running a 200tdi on filtered used veg oil at 70p a litre, getting just over 30mpg

cheers steve

lets be honest here. If you are after a "cheap" get around car its not a great one for it. comparitively high tax bracket, if you run it on normal diesel its expensive and unfortunately very desirable to the local scallys.

Not to be negative about them...

Running my TD5 on supermarket diesel costs around 25p per mile. £30 worth is just enough to do a 12 mile trip. My insurance wouldn't be typical as I never had a car for many years and as a result it's quite dear. But then if you want cheap transport you wouldn't get a Land Rover would you?
