Whatever you do, do not buy the black steps off ebay off the guy who sells them for £140 or £130 with slight marks. I opted for the unmarked ones and were damaged on delivery. I sent them back where upon he sent me pictures of another set of steps that were wrecked and clearly not the ones that I had returned. 1 month later and thankfully paypal intervened and gave me a full refund. An absolute pri@k of a guy.

They are big money. I'm contemplating trying to make my own.
Have you looked at how different models fix to the vehicle?
Some fix to the sill rail and across to the chassis. Other fix to the two out-riggers. I think the ones which fix to the out-riggers will be sturdier. I was going to start a thread to see if anyone knew if this was right. Hopefully, someone who knows, will read this! :)

I didn't bother in the end,i went off the boil, thought I`d spend the money keepin it roadworthy instead.
