Have rumble . Think it`s from front. Maybe a wheel bearing. Km. is 170000 or 100000 miles about. Is it much work fitting a complete hub with bearing?

Depends how corroded bolts are. i just had my cv gaiters inner and outer done for £80 a side. at that price it wasn't worth me getting the trolley jack, axle stands and big breaker bar out. the hub bolts have some big newtons on them!
+1 for the hub nut. Just did my cv boots and it took 3 of us to tighten it up. Wife with her foot on the brake, my son on the torque wrench and me pushing the socket on the nut with my foot.

Will have car at a local garage tomorrow . Checkin bearinfs and cv joins. Had car for only 7 weeks. Sounds gettin louder.

Cv joints and bearings ok. Will go to a specialist tomorrow, Let him take a round .

have a feelin that it is possibly cv joint front.Maybe left side.
