I'm getting a rumbling noise and vibration at the top of third gear and early forth. I'm hoping it is a worn UJ on the propshafts and hoping it isn't the gearbox.

Any ideas?

The propshaft has some slack due to very floaty UJs I'm going to blame this for the problem first.
I've (very luckily) found a farm suppliers with hundreds of UJs but they need the size. Apparently it is cup sizes, width between circlips and total width. I'm googling frantically before they close but if anyone knows of be really appreciative.

I had the same problem which I thought was UJs but it wasn't in my case... it was the bonnet hinge vibrating because the slot in the plastic bushes had aligned itself so that the hinge could touch the metal. It made a most unpleasant vibrating noise at around 30mph so, not nice in town. I stuffed a bit of plastic in the slot which solved the issue. Just an easier thing for you to check first...
