Going to be collecting a few rolls of this tomorrow, to line the inside of my 110. Each roll is 4m x 1m and at £10 seems a good deal.

No idea how much it would cost to post, but if anyone wants any collecting let me know. Listing says all sold, but he still has rolls available.

Yep, collected a few rolls today. As a 4m x 1m roll its fairly heavy, but once cut to size I hope its light enough to fit to the inside panels of my 110.

Ive not unloaded it from my Landy yet though, so havent inspected it thoroughly. Ive been advised by another landy enthusiast that its the perfect material to assist in sound proofing. Time will tell I guess.
 
I've been doing a bit of research on sound proofing, funny that everyone says their product is just what I need! Would be good to know if it works well as it's quite a bit cheaper than the usual ebay stuff.
 
Ive no idea how good it will be, not until I fit it. The seller still had some rolls left, but they were going quick as folk have been buying them as dog kennel flooring etc. Its actually underlay from an outdoor asto-turf football pitch. Ive been reliably informed that it is ideal as soundproofing.
 
Yeh, the back of my 110 is ply lined, so Ill bond some to the rear panels, and put some on the roof, need to find a suitable product to bond it though. Any ideas?

I took the headlining off the other day to clean, and was amazed how much condensation there was on the roof. Hopefully this will solve that problem.
 
I used the spray adhesive carpet fitters use - available from B&Q at about £5 a can. Think it's called Stikatak or something like that.

Usually found where they keep the door tread bars etc.

Messy stuff (cleans up with white spirit) but smells great:D

I fixed directly to the vertical metal wheel arch panels - sprayed the metal and sprayed the back of the rubber matting, then 'unrolled' into place and pressed/smoothed down firmly.

Hasn't fallen off yet, and gets plenty of knocks with horse stuff and trips to the tip.

Have you attached your ply onto the beams where the roof joins the sides and the sides join the tub? If you see what I mean.. I'm not sure how to do mine!
 
They were already fitted when i bought it, I'll take some photos this weekend if you like, I'm going to have to remove them anyway to fit the insulation.
 
Karlos, didnt get chance to remove my ply-lining, but ive taken a few photos of one side of my 110's interior. Bear in mind that mine is a double cab and the ply is just in the rear load area, one panel on each side, and one panel either side of the rear door (where the small windows would otherwise be). If you can zoom into the photos you will see where the rivets are..

Cheers mate will do! Do you find that it is really quite noisy when the roads are wet? Allthe water flicking up makes a right racket! I thaught the ply and camping mat might stop it but nope!

Like LeadFarmer - even with my thick rubber matting water and stones hitting the wheel arches is noisy.

Guess it is what it is
