Hi,
I've recently rejoined this forum having been a member a few years ago when I owned a Disco td5 (a great place for advice as I was always trying to fix something or other). I've recently bought an 11 plate RR sport and I'm hoping someone can give me a steer with regards the rear spoiler. Prior to buying I looked at an 09 plate which had a loose rear spoiler - because of this I scrutinised the spoiler on the one I did buy which seemed solid. However a couple of days after buying the two halves of the spoiler on the near side seems to have seperated slightly. I have tried pushing together hoping they'd snap back without success.
Any assistance on how to resolve this minor problem would be greatly appreciated - cheers

Welcome back. If it's a dealer buy, take it straight back, minor fault or not. If a private buy , then I'm sure someone will be along soon, who may be able to offer suggestions.

Good to be back. Yes bought from a dealer with 6 months RAC warranty. I have already got in touch with them and I've to take it back but I'm offshore for 2 weeks yet. I found it strange that the other RRS I drove appeared to have the same issue. Mine was definately secure to start but my strong armed wife likes to slam tailgates shut!

Can your wife not take it back to them. Or if local get them to pick it up.

I seem to remember on my L322 Rangie that real spoiler had to be removed to change wiper blade? Could be it’s just not been put back properly. Easy enough job and probably very similar on the Sport

I've said it a couple of times lately but no harm repeating. Don't mess about with anything, no matter how minor , on a vehicle still under warranty. It's the quickest way for them to void the warranty for that part, or any other they deem linked.
@Whittonblue , good luck with it. Hopefully, they will take it in and five minutes later give it back :)

P.s there's a couple of vids on youtube showing how to take off/replace the RRS spoiler :)

Sorry for the delay in replying but I'm offshore with poor internet and long working hours. Its Definately going back and the dealer was very apologetic - it also has a dim speedo needle which I noticed driving up to Aberdeen and he will sort that too.
Bought it on a Saturday and drove it to Aberdeen on the Sunday so really looking forward to getting back and driving it again.
No doubt I'll regret trading in the Audi A6 Allroad but I needed to scratch the RRS itch
