Hi all, I am just about to take delivery off a Range Rover Classis (1991) 3.9 V8Efi. I need to replace the two rear flexi beake hose's does anybody know the correct way to bleed the brakes after I have fitted them? Any help would be gratefuly received:):)

Thank you. Bled the brakes today but it feels like there is no brake servo, the brakes work but you have to proper press the pedal hard to apply any braking pressure, there is a unit in front of the abs system that makes a buzzing noise until you press the brake pedal then it shuts up,is it some type of air pump to assist braking?

Sounds like you need to start from scratch. Bleeding the ABS system can be a nightmare, I've been there.

Follow the exact sequence in Rave/workshop manual. A pressure bleeder makes it a bit easier. When it's done, the pedal should be really sharp and the Rangie should pull up smoothly and in a dead straight line. Anything less than perfect braking means you have a problem and you need to get it looked at.
