ok, having lived without cruise for sometime i thought "i know, i'll sort
the ecu"

so i found a 2nd hand one

except the one that arrived although the same pinouts is 1 digit different
on the part no

the original is an AMR 2524 part 5ga 004 397-13

the one i've plugged in is an AMR 1173 part 5ga 004 397-12

Well, i can here it click on and off with the switches, but alas no cruise

does anyone know if they are plug compatible, or should i view that i've
wasted 40 quid and try again?

Hi, you are doing better than me, I can't even find the cruise ECU on my 1995 3.9 auto any pointers?
