Thanks so much for all your advice! I just bought a new battery (on eBay)
 
I ordered a new battery and had a computer technician replace it properly...and the seat still doesn't peep. Fuses are ok - could it be power supply or the motor itself? It's getting difficult.
 
I had a computer technician replace aa ne battery properly...and the seat still doesn't peep. Fuses are ok - could it be power supply ? Is it the same power supply for the mirrors and the seat? It's getting difficult.

Was the battery pre-charged? what voltage does it have??
 
I ordered the battery from the ECU specialist on eBay - but didn't check it. Today I checked the correct 12V connection to the ECU - so it's not a lack of power supply either...

From memory, the battery should be 3.6 volts NOT 12 volts.

If all the voltages are present and the battery has 3.6 volts on the output, you have a major problem. An oscilliloscope would be needed to see if the ECU is running and other kit to look for invisible track damage.
