I have just bought a 2002 RR VOUGE SE
the air con doesn't come on i was told by a garage last week that its common to go but needs a part costing £80 before i get it regassed
can anyone tell me what the common leaky part is called

No i was just chatting on the off chance to a L /R mechanic he hasnt seen the car just wondered what the part was called

but thanks for the reply anyway

Usually it's the condensor mounted in front of the rad that goes. Easy job to replace, about £70 to £80 to buy, couple of hourse to DIY replace. Then £40 to re-gas.
