Hi all.
I've bit the bullet and sold one of my kids to buy a set of roose coolant hoses, as the bleed screw on top hose has disintegrated.
Whilst trying to fit the hose that goes from coolant bottle to fuel cooler it looks like the roose one goes to the heater matrix (instead of fuel cooler).
Am i missing something? Or has anyone here fitted this kit that can confirm it's been made wrong (or correct) before I cut it to make it fit?
2003 Discovery 2 td5
Cheers

Might be for earlier d2 model.
Iirc 2002 was change from 10p engine to 15p engine?

it might be a mistake on that seller's site, i posted the links just to show that there are two types, i can't confirm which one is for 10P or 15P in reality

That link is correct. Ive ordered the wrong part. To me it looks like the full coolant hose kit on the roose website ( which is where i ordered it from) only supplies the later hose. Just checked my vin no. and its just before it changed to the later one😪.
Looks like I will be cutting it tomorrow to make it fit.
Thanks again for your help

Hope the hose surgery went well? How do you find the roose hoses in terms of perceived quality?
Hi, yes no problems, just cut it at the bend and fitted no problem. Seem good quality, went with recommendations from people off this forum. Got some hoses left over, so not sure where they are suppose to go. Maybe to do with the egr which is deleted.

Not looked them up yet, but do they do the top hose, the one with the bleed screw in it, and if so is it any good?
I've currently got some Turkish made Frankenstein looking thing on there which has replaced a genuine LR hose that started weeping at one of the joints (internal failure), which in turn replaced another LR hose that partly rubbed through on the aircon compresor! None of them have really fitted well around the aircon bit, so I've had to put bits of old hose over where it might rub on things.
I don't mind spending a few quid on parts if they actually last.

Hi, yes they do do the top hose. It was the bleed screw on mine that started leaking aswell. Think they do it separately if you don't want the hole kit. No problems with fitting, and the bleed screw is metal which will be better
