Hi Pal.
Like the look of that. Would come in handy for a hobby I have, and would solve a problem.
Could you post up some more Info. How it,s fixed and how much/ where from.
Thanks for your time.
Cheers.

The tent is a Ventura. Cost £750 (https://venturarooftents.com/produc...-expedition-camping-4x4-land-rover-van-t5-suv). Its just bolted on to the roof bars that were on the car when I bought it. The tent was originally bought and used when I had a disco 2. So I'm going to try it out in a couple of weeks on the fl2. cant see a problem to be honest.

For an FL1, the tent with a couple of folks sleeping in it will exceed the max rated load limit. But since you're stationary, I doubt it will be a problem in practice?

I'd love to get a roof tent, but a) it'd be impossible to get the dog in there and b) I don't think the 3-door FL1 has the same static strength as 5-door versions of either the FL1 or FL2.
