R Rorie Active Member Nov 13, 2018 #1 I've got my roof off for painting, but I want to seal the seams first as they currently leak. Whats best thing to seal with which will not react with paint? I wasn't sure about Tiger Seal - it doesn't set hard? Or perhaps a weld seam sealer?

Every seam/joint. I used black as the roof was being painted black.

bluedog333 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2018 #4 Tiger Seal is bloody good ( as long you don’t want to get the roof off in a hurry after! ). I always find it goes off in the tube too quick, so it doesn’t have much of a shelf-life after opening.
