mega streatch carpet off e-bay

For LR headliners I just rip the old cloth off, strip the foam & glue with a wire brush and give it 2 coats of bathroom/kitchen paint..

This is a Discovery 2 but I've done Defender and RRC ones like this.. you can't tell the difference unless you touch it..

I reupholstered my roof lining for my CSW, but after recently getting a 3 door 110, I might install them in er.)

if your near j30 m1 give me a shout if you need a hand doing it i am carpet fitter so know what i am doing.

i cut 6mm ply to make the sides.
also made my own pull out draw storage box in 24mm marine ply cost me £30 to make!

must say i was inspired when i saw LNH the other saturday and liked his handywork re-van sides and veltrim, i bought some ply and had a go.

That looks good bud. What thickness ply did you use out of interest?

hi aaron, 5.5 mm, cut out the squares with another underneath to give the "step" then another piece for the back.
ive got the rhs to do so will take pics to explain better.
ordering some netting as per the MUD panels.

Ah, cheers. Yeah that makes sense anyhow. I did notice the step, kinda looks factory like that :)
If mine come out half as good I'll be happy.
Just not sure how much carpet I should order now.

think i ordered 2x1 meter and thats enough for both sides, although ive ordered a fair bit in the past as ive done the whole seatbox trans tunnel footwells rear tub and roof lol.

Aye, so I've seen :D:p
Brothers will just be van sides and rear tub as his head lining is good.
My head lining is knackered, so got that to do, both front and rear. Then van sides and tub again.
Wont be doing front of either, as both have lr rubber matting.

Gotta take the roof of his and paint it first mind before I fix the ply in place.

I think i should have used a lighter shade of grey as its a bit dark in the back:cool:, especially as i have a dark tint on my rear windows.
