To tiny penis I'm guessing that's your name as its how u signed your post

U need a life m8 on occasions there handy for that it's not a hobby blinding people but likewise I ain't being blinded either if someone don't dip regardless of roof lights or not u give them a flash its pure dicks like ur self jumping to conclusions with aggressive behavior that gives forums a bad name ( roof lights should be used responsibly as should landy's and forums) so take it opinions and stick them little man

Advice is on these sites for personal interpretation if u have underlying problems such as anger management issues or just generally talk **** I think u should hold of on reply's

Previous advice still stands I'm sure thats the whole point of this site not personal digs

I have a set of rooflights on my disco for shooting and off roading.i wired mine to a seperate switch but i am thinking of changeing them so that 2 of the 4 come on with my high beam.i am takeing my truck for mot next week so if it fails due to light i will let you know.;)

It should pass I got 4 roof lights that come on with the main or on independently I passed mot last week no probs light levels are only checked on dipped beam good luck

As an ex mot tester!
Roof lights will pass an mot, you can have as many as you want and stick em where you want, have them as powerful as you want. As long as they're not dangerous to pedestrians or other road users and turned off they are not an mot item!!! So can't fail it!
The police have a different view! For road use they cant really be higher than your headlamps, no more powerful than your standard headlamps, must be fitted as a pair and spaced correctly. If they are driving lamps they must only work with main beam and you should be able to turn them off.
In short, roof lights are illegal to use on the road but you can have them fitted and use them off road. Same goes for bonnet pods if they are above your headlamps, you can have them but not use them.
I would imagine if people keep using them they will probably become part of the mot cos of all the moaning do gooders out there! It happened with tinted windows!
