As said above, there are those plastic fir trees for fitting the headlining back on. The bubble wrap is thin enough as to not interfere with the headlining. The headlining is only secured down the sides above the doors, above the rear bulkhead and via the sun visors. You cold put as thicker stuff as you like between the headlining and roof because there are no fitting points in the middle to the roof. I was perfectly able to use my old fittings too. The spray glue was around £3 each and I used 3 cans, the roll of insulation was on offer 2 for £25 quid I think. I could have used just one roll but I doubled the thickness for added warmth. The fabric was about £20 a roll but you could get it cheaper online I think, I didn't bother to look around I wanted it done that weekend so I bought the first I came across.

I used noise killer in my roof, I know its expensive but it works well.

I'd be interested to see the roofs finished with the felt if you guys have any pics?

I've got photos but they are on my phone, and I only have internet on my phone too. I tried to upload some yesterday but it wasn't happening. If you have a email address, I could send you some pics then you can post them on here if you like?

As requested - we've replaced the roof lining with new firs. Also we've blanked off the air vents as they always seemed to be damp.

Would you have an ebay link by any chance?

What type of silver lining is that again and where could I buy it?

Edit: nevermind, just opened my eyes and read your previous post.

That felt looks great - struggling to find something similar

Did it come from a local store to you?

I dont think that's felt on bluehaze's, I thinks its a standard headlining?
(I stand corrected if not and awesome job if it is felt lol!:))

B&Q have that bubble wrap silver backed insulation stuff in at £12 a roll. Did the back of mine out at the weekend, was going to see what's like before any fancy carpet covering.

Its the stuff car audio people use to cover subwoofer boxes and cover over speakers built in to parcel shelves. Its about 2-3mm thick, it stretches and shapes around contours, plus it holds its shape once formed. Great stuff to use, relatively cheap, lightweight (so It won't peel off as you apply it). Great stuff.

This is on the cards for the weekend, condensation on the roof & steamy windows in the chilly Fender this morning :(
Found a local place that re-trims caravans and vans etc, they sell the trimfix high temp spray, carpet they use for re-trimming, that just leaves me with getting down to homebase for some foil insulation (which is currently 25% off, and they have a 20% discount voucher online this weekend  lol)
