I am picking another 300tdi disco up tomorrow and bought some cross bars for roof bars only to find out that it dont have the roof bars.

does anyone know if the bolt holes etc will be there if i were to get some roof bars?

Got a 94 300Tdi sans bars and there are no blanked-off holes in my roof panel.

I have a set of high feet, lockable Thule roof bars for Discos without roofbars. These were left over when I sold my 300TDi. My TD5 has roof bars. So if you fancy doing a swap... PM me.

Back to trying to do this. Anyone know if the points to fit the roof bars will be there? Trying to save taking the roof lining off to find they aren't there

Yes the mounting points are there, there are four reinforced points that are pre-diilled so it's just a matter of drilling upwards through them into the roof skin with a suitable size drill bit, after the headlining has be dropped down that is..

Easy to do just make sure you use loads of sealer. Not bathroom silicone!!!
