hi , can anyone send me a photo of these seals and which way they are fitted to the sries 2-3 land rovers?

I used neoprene foam self adhesive strip. It comes in any size you can think of and dunt rot like rubber. I used han uge one between the sides and tub. Its sits in the recess snugly with about 5mm hanging out the bottom. Nice crush fit when bolted up. The adhesive strip helps no end when installing.

I’m fitting my hardtop back and can’t get the rubber seal to fit too. Anyone got advice on how it fits into the underside of the hardtop? One way with it vertical leaves the hardtop too high, other way which looks sensible flat across jointit leaves w gap even when the bolts and fixings are tightened. It’s driving me crazy, pardon the pun and fettling the bolts holes are tedious and inaccessible.

Do you mean the side panels, rather than the roof? I think this was answered a few weeks ago, in another thread.

I recall the answer is that it should be vertical, with the metal 'clip' in the channel, located in the groove in the seal. Can't you squish the seal down by tightening the nuts on the side panel studs?
