Ha flash band, cracking as we say in wales, Love it, i dont like the sun blasting on my rather thining hair when i'm driving So it looks like the plate job, Hmm could you spray the flash band?

Hi mikeb59
Yes you can paint the flash band ! I'm going to paint the roof satin black as I don't clean the roof that much , only give it a wash every now & again ! But it's a lot less faff than trying to seal with owt else !!

Steve

Hot air gun or a hair dryer & a small roller (not a paint roller) start at back & work your way forward ,2 bits over the front , should be able 2 see in picys ?
+ you can see on 3 door that it's painted !!

Just fix them properly. About a days job to do it right.
I bought new seals a couple of years ago when I did mine and they were about £40 for the pair and that was genuine landrover.
Take the roof lining out remove the glass take out the frame. Fit new seals in the frame.
Clean everything up reseal the frames to the roof and refit glass and roof lining.

that sounds like a plan, i'll check the prices

Get them fixed, had mine done, £350, with a two year warranty, came to my home all done in a day, with new seals drains cleared and resealed and the right adhesive to stick down the frame, both sunroofs, to be honest, when I saw all the work he did to get to them, I would have taken three times as long and it wouldn't have been as tidy
