Right, I need space desperately so I can make a start on the new chassis now the metal is in stock
So tax exempt series 3 88", chassis is solid, Range Rover disc brake conversion axles with correct camber and steering arm set up, straight but cut up rear tub and wings (could be rectified or fit some big arches and run 35's
)
Has no springs so will be resting on bump stops as The Egg has dibs on the parabolics, can either go with a mint condition refurbished bulkhead with the correct modifications for a V8 with LT95 101 gearbox, the chassis currently is set up for a chevy 350 with the mounts welded in place, steering is all good and it has a nice pickup top on it with a defender back section so it doesn't leak or rust like a series one
Seatbox is in need of repair as its been modified a bit, sill rails are good, crossmember is good, no fuel tank but can supply an ally one for extra, dash is solid and not full of rust holes, wiring is all there and works and the doors are both solid
As it stands in parts;
Axles owe me £200 (come with good 4.7 diffs, spare shafts and CV's plus some callipers)
Tub £30
Pickup roof with the LED's £120
Bulkhead (mint one £350, needs no work) Or have the original one which needs a small repair to the passenger pillar, footwell on drivers side has a chunk missing after modifying and the tunnel has been chopped out as I was going to fit a custom one (£75) Will probably keep the **** up one for myself though as its more useful to me
Chassis say £300 (it'll save you near that in tax each year and is solid)
Wings £70 (have LED side lights and Halogen H4 upgrade headlights so like a defender)
Straight tailgate £25
Straight and un-dented round nose bonnet with new galv hinges £20
Front panel with standard rot along the bottom but has been coated in that rustoleum stuff to stop it £20
All this needs is a little work to the bulkhead and seat box and an engine and gearbox of your choosing, if it goes as a job lot it'll be less than in parts obviously
I have a set of good props with decent UJ's that can go with it too
