Can anyone tell me if the half moon shape part of a td5 rocker gasket is different between 10p and 15p engines, I bought a new Td5 rocker gasket and cannot for the life of me get it to seat properly at the back, any help appreciated

I think 15P is LVP000020, 10P is ERR7094. Not sure if the half moon bit is different or not but they can be a fiddle. They are more different at the front of the engine but check you have the right one.

The workshop manual requires you to put a blob of sealant at the corner of the halfmoon bit. Might help if that's where your leak is

Thanks for that, will check when I'm off shift

no idea, my one is a 15p and it fitted just fine, very thin smear of grease to hold in place so when inverted it stayed put, but i do recall it fitted very well so chances are you got the wrong one!

Which workshop manual says that? I have never needed to before but may have just been lucky

D2 rave says it.

Is this a special sealant or is it gasket sealer, also the rocker gasket I got is a 15p so I need to order ERR7094?

If you have leaks around the rocker cover better buy 13 x genuine ERR7266 grommets and replace them cos they wear out and that's the cause of leaks in that area

Is this the rubbers that the rocker cover bolts go through, mine look fine and are all there, will look into replacing them though thanks
