Hi folks, just about to place an order for some rock sliders for my 90 (from paddocks) but need to decide if i should go for the galv or the black powdercoat-over zinc. Either way i want them black but will painting the galv ones last better/be easier to touch up than the powdercoated ones?

Thanks

I got mine from Ian.
Aint fitted em yet though!

Ians sliders do look good. But if the powder coating chips off, will they start to rust underneath. Or are they zinc/galvanised.

Ian does some cracking tree-sliders...worth a look unless you are set on just rock sliders.

I could courier then but than would put the price up alot to cover the costs, but if people want thenm gavled I can certainly make a phone call to ask them,

don't understand the whole concept of galving rock/tree sliders.

if the 6mm steel eventually rots through after 20 years cos you can't be bothered to paint over any scuffs, then you only need to save up £5/year ready for some new ones.
