A roof rack isnt the easiest of things to remove even with no pressure on you so they had balls to even try and also must of had a van to take it away. Did they damage bodywork removing it?

No damage at all very clean job, took it with all the fixings and bolts. one of the neighbours did hear a van drive off quickly around 5.
When they removed the lights they even disconnected the wiring without breaking the connectors or wiring. So I could connect my original lights with minimum of hassle.
A professional job, if thieving can be classsed as a profession.
 
There is nowhere near enough deterrent in this country to make scumbags think twice about doing this sort of stuff. If owners try to defend what is theirs then suddenly the law wakes up and all hell is unleashed upon them.
How screwed up is that?
Chop their thieving greasy hands off - could you ever see that happening in this politically correct society? Sadly no but that's what it needs.
