So what about military lightweight springs, would fitting them raise a landy somewhat? Would the difference in lift rival that of parabolics, or be the same as standard springs?
 
I changed to paras - from rusted solid road springs. So i guess the imporvement is kinda obvious. But, for off-roading (my main usage) they are excellent. Trundling around roads is fine too, sure you roll around, but, its a land rover, its not as if you want to corner at 60 is it...

is the paras the type the millatery use
 
I don't think they are - they are just Paddock's Parabolic springs...

lightweight springs are just HD springs. There are less leafs but the thickness of each is increased. there is no lift over standard leaf springs.
