looks like a 70s ford capri at the mo ****in me off.
have to say not ground brakin improovement in ride lol still need to get a helmet

My mate was the same....far to high on the back...he took them off a fitted British Springs paras which he is very happy with.

mines got 3 leaf paras all round and sits level forward and back. Have you got different shackles on the back?

Not sure what make mine are though

I've just fitted some RM paras to my project - the back springs seem bloody hard - I've been trying to compress them to set up the check straps and get the RM shocks to not foul on the spring but with all my weight, 5 wheels and tyres and a couple of bags of sand sat on the back of the chassis I get about 1/8" of compression. That can't be right when I jump up and down on the back of my swb I can get lots of movement...

There not LWB shackles there 109 2ton shackles. I know because I fitted them over 10yrs ago to this very landrover. I also moved the rear spring hangers forward to lift it. The shocks are not standard either. pM me for all the details for this 2a. Geof

ah thats why the bastard springs are to high then

Did you have any trouble with the front prop shaft? Ive just fitted paras and its also about 2" higher and the front prop shaft is now 1" too short.
