I'm buying a new rad for me 99' TD5. Looking on paddocks. It's showing;

Radiator - TD5 Diesel to 2A622423
And
Radiator - TD5 Diesel from 2A622424

The '2A6224' bit is what exactly?

The part number ?

I'd guess ones for the early TD5's and ones for the later ones

Does your old one not have the number stamped on it so you can replace like for like ?

since yours is 1999 which is before 2002 first one 2a is year 2002 3a 2003 etc

I guessed it was part of vin number but the last bit of my vin starts with XA... so wasn't to sure. And I also guessed it was the early one but didn't wanna order the wrong part...

ring them up and give them your vin number to be 100% sure plus then if its wrong its there fault and they would have to rectify the prob foc instead of you paying for return postage
